Principal Corner

AFHS Families,
I look forward to our partnership as we work together to provide outstanding opportunities for the students at AFHS. Our faculty and staff is a dedicated and caring group of adults who remain committed to continuous school improvement and support our mission of “Preparing Students to Perform For Life!” To this end, it is imperative that we work together to model diversity, humility, openness and collaboration- all skills our students must embrace in our ever-changing global society.
I hold high expectations for every student’s academic performance and self-discipline. I believe in applying equitable school practices and upholding consistent expectations for all students. Students will know I have high expectations and will hold them accountable for their choices, but they will equally know how much I care about them and their future.
Together, we will exemplify the type of school-community partnerships that our students deserve. Through mutual respect, concerned understanding and on-going mutual support, we will continue to build on the sound traditions at Adams-Friendship High School.

Partners in Education,
Mrs. Tanya Kotlowski
